Station
situated on the Midland Railway
line between Wellingborough and
Higham Ferrers The Line was
closed September, 1969. Site
was taken over by the Rushden
Historical Transport Society in
1996 and operates the line as the
Rushden, Higham &
Wellingborough Railway.
The station
site has been refurbishing the
adjacent original Goods Depot
The RHTS has
developed its own railway museum
in the station buildings.
The line now
begins at Rushden Station and
terminates after a half-mile at a
buffer stop along the route to
Higham Ferrers.
The line
towards Wellingborough is now the
Greenway Footpath.
