Rushden Station
Station situated on the Midland Railway line between Wellingborough and Higham Ferrers The Line was closed September, 1969.

Site was taken over by the Rushden Historical Transport Society in 1996 and operates the line as the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway.

The station site has been refurbishing the adjacent original Goods Depot

The RHTS has developed its own railway museum in the station buildings.

The line now begins at Rushden Station and terminates after a half-mile at a buffer stop along the route to Higham Ferrers.

The line towards Wellingborough is now the Greenway Footpath.

Later photos show part of the trackbed towards Wellingborough including Washbrook Road bridge/tunnel.
